David: One of our key offerings here is that we not only automate that initial [BEAD Challenge] process that brings all of these data sets together, but we can also help provide a tool that will allow you to review these things.
Priya: Our team does the analysis and then load that into the Broadband Navigator. We realize that when we built the Broadband Navigator, we built it for the challenge process and it really is a tool for communication and adjudication, which is what we used it for — the challenge process, but then we’ve built on it for reviewing these mischaracterized BSLs.
Caitlin: We Initially built Broadband navigator for the bead challenge process just to help states navigate through their bead challenge process but we’ve expanded upon it to help with the mischaracterized BSLs, so while this tool has a ton of different uses, it has a lot of features, on the map portion what we’re really interested in looking at right now is the mischaracterized BSL portion. When you come into the map and then you log in as a user, and you review BSLs, it will bring all the bead eligible locations into the application.
David: We also ability to take ISP comments or comments from local governments, we give you a form, we give you a format, and then we can add those as comments, so then when you’re going in to review locations, not only would you see your team’s comments, but you’re able to see comments provided by other external stakeholders. That’s really for me, you know, trying to manage this process when I was in the State of Connecticut, what I really wanted to see is places where every source that I could find agreed and external parties agreed, so, that’s really that sweet spot.
